Earth Day South Los Angeles
This year's Earth Day South LA is our usual family friendly event packed with fun/educational activities spanning many issues pertinent to the health of our planet.
Mark "Djank Munkee" Gutierrez of Jungle Rhythm
Special event sets from DJ Graciela
EVENT HIGHLIGHT: Doctors and Engineers will perform a full set including new music, not on their current EP!!!
Open Call for local artists/muralists to create art work designs at the event that can potentially be incorporated into the renovated building.
SPECIAL PAUL ROBESON FEATURE
This year is a fundraiser for the Paul Robeson Community Wellness Center (PRCWC) construction fund. We are asking those who can to donate $20.00 toward this fund for attending this amazing event. Don't know who Paul Robeson is, or want to learn more? The event will launch an on-site exhibit about Paul Robeson by local collector Alden Kimbraugh and the inaugural performance of a new spoken word piece by TV star Sheldon Baily. Don't know what the PRCWC is, the event will include a tour of the space and will showcase a model and renderings of the renovations that will happen.
